Classes
Woodworkers Shop offers woodworking classes year-round! We have even added some evening classes too. We offer both free and paid instruction. Our paid classes are limited to only a few participants so we can give the utmost attention to detail. Supplies are furnished for most. Class Descriptions
Charcuterie / Butterboard Class
Make a Charcuterie Butterboard! Please bring safety glasses to class if you have them. All materials are provided. The cost for this class is $40. Class size limited to 5 students.
Wooden Butter/ Cheese Spreader Class
Make a wooden butter/cheese spreader for your butterboard! All materials are provided. If you have safety glasses please bring them. The cost for the class is $20. Class size limited to 5 students.
Make a Laminated Cutting Board
Make a laminated cutting board! Please bring your safety glasses.This is a two session class and will be held on two Saturdays! Class size limited to 4 students.
Wooden Bowl Turning
Turn a wooden bowl! Use a wood lathe to make a wood bowl. Please bring safety glasses. All materials are provided for this class! The cost for this class is $55. Class size limited to 3 students.
Router Basics
Bring your router and router bits and learn to use them correctly! Please bring safety glasses! This is a free class! Class size limited to 6 students.
Natural Edge Shelf
Make a floating natural edge shelf! Please bring safety glasses. The cost for this class is $50.00 Class size 4 students.
Finishing Class
This class extensively covers the General Finishes line of stains and finishes. This class covers why and when and how of the finishing world. We also teach you how to get a furniture grade finish. Class size is limited to 12 people. This is a free class!
Three Leg Stool
Make a three legged stool! Please bring safety glasses. The cost for this class is $85. This is a two Saturday class. All materials are provided. Class size is limited to 4 students.
Make a Jointers Mallet
Make a jointers mallet! Please bring safety glasses. All materials are provided for this class! The cost for this class is $30. Class size is limited to 5 students.
End Grain Cutting Board
Make an end grain cutting board! Please bring safety glasses. This is a three Saturday class. All materials are provided. The cost for this class is $125. Class size is limited to 4 students.
Keep Sake Box
Make a keep sake box! This is a two Saturday class. Please bring safety glasses. The cost for this class is $85. All materials are provided. Class size is limited to 4 students.
Bowl Turning 2! (Advanced)
This class has a prerequisite you must have taken "Make a Wooden Bowl" In this class you will make a platter which will build off of skills previously learned in the first class.
