Woodworkers Shop offers a variety of services in our shop.

We will always cut to length so you can easily transport your material at no charge, but we’re also able to do so much more for a minimal shop fee. You may need just a little help to complete a project or you’re looking for someone to do the entire project. Please let us know how we can help you.

Slab Flattening Services

An important first step in any project using live edge slabs is flattening the slab. Woodworkers Shop offers slab flattening services. We can do slabs that are a maximum 38" x 128".

Project Assistance

Sometimes you just don't have the right tools, knowledge, or space to complete a project on your own. Depending on your project, Woodworkers Shop staff can step in and do the work for you.

Glue-Ups

There are times when a project requires boards to be glued edge to edge to make a wider panel. We can do table tops, shelves, countertops, etc in an wide array of widths and lengths. Contact us for your specific project.

Mantels

Mantels are a great way to create a focal point around and above your fireplace. Woodworkers Shop can create a custom mantel just for you. From Rustic to elegant, we can make it happen.

General Woodworking

Woodworkers Shop will do a variety of general woodworking tasks. Shop charges are by the hour. Please contact us to get an estimate for your project.

Edge Routing: We can do custom edge routing for you-anything from putting an edge on a shelf to making trim pieces.

Planing: We can plane to desired thickness from our stock or from yours. If you bring your own lumber, it must meet the following guidelines:

must be free from any metal, bark, dirt, paint, or finish: customer is responsible for any damage to machinery caused by the presence of any of the previously mentioned
lumber must meet dryness standards and will be checked before any work is attempted

Ripping and Cross-cutting: Let us assist you with sizing your stock for your project.
